Zambia boasts one of the seven wonders of the world, Victoria Falls, here you can ride through and around the rivers which shoot off it, before taking a helicopter flip over the mesmerising spectacle itself. The country is luscious and inviting with friendly people and huge populations of game. The country is green and lodges luxurious.

The riding here is for any ability but may be amongst big game. The riding is based around beautiful lakes and rivers which attract everything from elephants and lions to brightly coloured African birdlife. The game parks here are looked after by dedicated staff who will take more experienced riders on trails of exploration and discovery. Many of the horses in Zambia riding safari outfits are retrained from the polo field or racetrack, making them responsive enough for more discerning guests.

Options such as riding through teak forests, Mopani woodland and sub-riverine bush above the Batoka Gorge, as well as riding close to Victoria Falls and in some of Zambia’s most celebrated National parks make this country a rival to other better known riding safari destinations.
