Kurland
Kurland is a luxurious country hotel near Plettenberg Bay on South Africa’s popular Garden Route. Surrounded by immaculate polo fields and the rugged Outeniqua mountains, Kurland has 12 individually furnished suites – complete with plunge pools, under-floor heating for the cooler months, embossed bed linen, spacious bathrooms and original oil paintings. Most of the suites also have a specially designed children’s loft room and en-suite bathroom (including half size toilet and bath).
Daily activities include tennis, horse riding and, in season, polo matches – whilst the Tsitsikamma Forest and the fabulous sandy beaches of Plettenberg Bay are both nearby.
Children of all ages are welcome at Kurland. During the day they can busy themselves with quad biking, boating, horse and bike-rides, a games room and a specially constructed swimming pool. Trained nannies are also available for babysitting.
